New Development at Possible Noah's Ark Site
Researchers investigating the boat-shaped Durupınar Formation near Mount Ararat are reporting a major new development.
New scans reportedly show straight lines, right-angle intersections and sizeable spaces beneath the ground. Drilling also recovered organic material and encountered an unusually hard underground layer.
The research team now claims that the latest results have “100 percent confirmed” that the formation is man-made.
Why is this interesting?
If the Durupınar formation is indeed the remains of a vessel, it would place a remarkable witness in the land where Scripture says the ark came to rest — “on the mountains of Ararat” (Genesis 8:4).
Archaeology can never replace faith. Yet discoveries like this remind us that the biblical account is set within real history, real places and real landscapes — and that the world of the Flood is not merely a distant story, but is remembered in the very ground beneath our feet.
